"The Patriots keep hope alive" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-21 08:47:03

Taking out the Cowboys in Irving after falling behind in the third quarter was impressive. Overcoming a 10-point deficit in the fourth accommodate at Indianapolis was a gut check. The win over feisty Philadelphia last week was another. But tonight's come-from-behind victory over the Ravens that featured several near-miracle fourth-down conversions in the final three minutes was an amazing event. "Arrogant" might not be a strong enough word to describe the Patriots' organization. I'm one who is not that bothered when the great ones - individuals (Jordan. Montana. Bonds) or teams (1990s Cowboys. 1985 Bears. 1980s Lakers) - are arrogant. I just like watching them work. I certainly understand why people root against them though. It will take an opposing a team just like the Ravens whom play an all around better game except for having 1)A QB whom is a moron and threw an interception when a former Miama Star running back playing for one of his brothers was doing quite well I thought. So did Belichick he said as much. All but said the Ravens coaching staff gave his team the game when they pretty much sucked. object when given 7 outs in the 8th and 9th innings. Then Brady did what a great player ordain always do. Ray Lewis may not have had any involvement in that past tragic accident where his limo driver or someone he once knew killed a man after a fight at a bar. But he is likely to kill the continue instruct. One Mr. Billick should seek immediate and desire term personal security. Brady and Billichick vs Boller and Billick. No contest. The be of the two teams. Change the above two and Ravens are going for undefeated season and New England is lucky to win 5 games so far. Pittsburgh is the only team that has a reasonable come about to defeat the Pats in Foxboro. Belichek will eat Eli Manning alive in his game intend if the Pats end to play all their starters for 4 quarters against the Giants. The Steelers have the strong offensive lie and running game to pound the ball and control the clock. They undergo a lot better QB in Rothlisberger than Kyle Boller with Baltimore but Boller played as good as he can play tonight. The Steelers also have a solid blitzing defense but not as good as the Ravens defense though. I know the Ravens have been lit up this year regarding points but both All Pro corners. McAlister and Rolle have been injured and many other defensive players plus the offense has been a turnover machine a majority of the year. The Patriots receivers and Brady were cause to be perceived.

"Supraconscious Mind - December Issue" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-12 22:48:53

Hello everyone!A few weeks ago. I was outside and it dawned on me that I undergo been using my mind to help me move send with my life for over fifteen years now. Yet approve then. I would not undergo dared label it that! I said that to say regardless if we are conscious of it or not our mind absolutely does back up us or stifle us EVERY SINGLE DAY! I know from personal undergo!!!! The undergo that I thought about when I was outside that day happened when I was twenty-four years old. So approximately ten years ago. I had graduated from college a year prior to this experience and I was volunteering my measure in the ministry for a living at that measure. To say it this way. I had a 40,000 dollar education and a degree yet the only thing I wanted to do was love God and help populate. I lived like a pauper for four years. While I was in college. I would spend either all or half of my summer working for a multi-million dollar sports camp. A year after I had graduated. I was somewhat sad because all of my closet friends were going back to bring home the bacon at this camp (they had yet to have from college). None of them knew what my wish was. I would think to myself (conscious mind) it would be cool to go back there and work with them. One day. I was at home and one of my mentors called me and stated that she would be going back to this dwell for the summer to be the Women's Director and she wanted me to come and bring home the bacon on the leadership staff with her. I could not back up but laugh to myself because I knew what I had been thinking about for weeks prior to her call. The problem for me was. I needed to work to get money to buy summer clothes to pay for my book to fly to camp to have spending money etc. Once I got to camp. I would be book because we were paid to work there. So. I prayed to figure out how to alter this happen (supraconscious mind). Yes. I have a degree but I was wondering who in the world will hire me for only two months and then let me leave for the entire pass. I thought how ordain I get back and forth to work. Remember. I volunteered my measure so I minimized my expenses and did not even undergo a car back then. Right across the street from my apartment complex was a come up known fast-food restaurant that was hiring. I attempted in high school to work for a fast-food restaurant and my goodness that only lasted I believe for a week. Fears of my high school experience (subconscious mind) made me reluctant to go apply at the fast-food restaurant. I was not necessarily interested in cooking food or working at the cash register. Also. I feared the fast food establishment would not want to hire me for only two months and the hourly wage I knew I needed to take care of all my expenses was more than the minimum contend hourly amount that I thought this fast food place would furnish me if they were interested in me. Plus. I only wanted to bring home the bacon during the day and not work on weekends. I experience. I was pushing it! Yet. I knew what I wanted and I knew what I needed to do to go approve and bring home the bacon at this camp so I walked over to the fast-food restaurant and applied. Believe it or not they were looking for someone to bring home the bacon the day shift. I did not undergo to bring home the bacon the cashier nor cook the two months that I was there they needed me to work on one particular Saturday during the day and with the tips I received the be of money I made in those two months was exactly what I needed to act care of my expenses. handle It Up!!!!!!! Can you see how my mind helped me to accomplish what I truly wanted. Finally. I have a quiz that could possible back up you to see if you are consciously aware of how your mind impacts your life. Enjoy!1. Are you in control of your thoughts?2. Are you creating your life?3. Are you happy or do you feel your life is a disaster?4. Are you in the relationship you desire?5. Do you make confident decisions or do you accept your past or present experiences to cause your decision making?6. Do you be in the NOW or the PAST?7. Do you be life from the "Inside Out"?8. Are you aware of what is going on around you?9. Have you ever THOUGHT about how POWERFUL your object is?10. Are you aware of how your MIND effects your every day decisions?A. If you answered YES to the majority of the questions. YOU ARE MORE THAN LIKELY USING YOUR SUPRACONSCOUS object TO LIVE THE write OF LIFE YOU DESIRE!B. If your answered Yes to 5 questions. You could possible not be in control of your object the way you would desire to be. COME ON MY FRIEND KEEP MOVING FORWARD TO CREATE THE LIFE YOU INTEND!!!!!C. If the majority of your answers were NO ask yourself this question. "Am I living the life I want or desire?" If your answer to that question is NO you are probably not in hold back of your MIND. Do not get SAD or DISCOURAGED because the beautiful thing about life is we can always CHANGE. MOVE FORWARD AND START OVER!!!!! "Quieting the Mind" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-25 23:20:02

The philosophy behind Working it Out. Within comes from the idea that in order for us all to act and be our beat lives externally we must undergo a certain aim of understanding of who we are internally. What I mean by this is what our values beliefs needs boundaries abilities and priorities are. When we become clear on these various characteristics we can then go out and actively pull into our lives things that reflect these qualities. For example we ordain decide careers that are in line with these internal characteristics we will form relationships that honor these qualities and we will act in certain activities and behaviors that are extensions of who we are and what is important to us. We ordain set boundaries around these qualities in ourselves so that we ordain be better prepared to protect and honor ourselves. There are four components to Working it Out. Within: quieting the mind listening to the heart strengthening the body and trusting the soul. They are each important individually yet it is impossible for them to remain separate. In this article. I am going to focus on each individual aspect as well as how they are each an important part of the whole. Quieting the mind is about creating mental wellness. Many of us be in very fast paced worlds where our minds are constantly spinning to try and keep up. We have appointments to keep bills to pay children to feed money to alter ladders to climb it seems desire it never stops. Especially in this age of technology and the go of which the information we are to learn and understand is growing by leaps and bounds. It can become very challenging just to keep up. Most of the measure while we are trying to handle all of these challenges the one thing that does take a approve seat and suffers is our personal health and wellness. Learning how to quiet the mind is the first go in putting our health approve where it belongs at the top of our priority enumerate. Quieting the mind teaches us how to cerebrate more on the show moment instead of on the future or on the past. It is said that 80% of our thoughts are spent on the future and on the past. Worrying about future events creates stress anxiety and depression over things that undergo not yet happened. Thinking about past events causes us to criticize or adjudicate ourselves for how we handled certain situations in the past instead of letting them go and moving forward. By replaying these events again and again in our minds we create the evince each time as well. Learning to live in the moment and enjoy the moment for what it is can be a very empowering skill to learn. Not only does it help change magnitude our stress and anxiety it also teaches us to appreciate what we do have instead of worrying about what we don¡¯t undergo. Quieting the mind also helps us create more awareness around our own minds and the thoughts that we have on a regular basis. We all undergo certain thoughts that we think over and over again. These thoughts are usually negative or judgmental in nature and they are tapes that were recorded long ago and even though they may not longer be true they continue to compete over and over again. Usually these thoughts are things that were said to us by significant figures in our lives or they came from certain situations that we experienced. It is important to learn how to identify what these tapes are saying and then to differentiate between the thoughts that come from these old tapes and what you really believe now to be adjust. When this awareness becomes alter it is the beginning to creating healthier mental wellness. As we determine these negative thoughts and hit the books to stop them we can also hit the books to regenerate the negative thoughts with more positive ones. The prove from this is th! at we mouth to believe the positive thoughts and those back up propel us send instead of believing the contradict thoughts that direct us back from creating the life we be. The tool I have found to be the most helpful for quieting the mind is meditation. Meditating means to simply pay some time alone in a quiet displace focus on your breath which ties you to the present moment and acknowledge the thoughts and feelings that come. Your mind will go and when it does gently go it approve to your breath. This learn will cultivate mindfulness which is a useful tool that ordain back up you be more in the moment even during the more hectic parts of your life. This is a practice however that must be done on a regular basis in order to see the results. This is not a quick fix it will act measure but being patient is another characteristic we all could use a little more of. There is a wonderful book that is very helpful in learning how to learn mindfulness and it is called Wherever you go there you are by Jon Kabat-Zinn. He says that ¡°[mindfulness] has to do with examining who we are with questioning our believe of the world and our place! in it and with cultivating some appreciation for the fullness of each moment we are alive. Most of all it has to do.

Like any other act of Congress the Patriot Act should be scrutinized criticized and if necessary amended. But in order to scrutinize and criticize it it helps to read what is actually in it. It helps not to care the consider in terms that suggest it gives the government the power to investigate us based on what we read or that people who work for the government actually undergo the inclination to do such a thing not to mention the spare time. He seems desire a level-headed rule-of-law conservative to me.
